Chapter 1
THIRD
This chapter starts out with two unknown people talking. They are saying things like this is the one, and his brother
was like that, so was his sister. The two unknown people reach an aggreement of having to take the kid.

A lady is telling Andrew that his monitor* will be gone soon, and not to worry, because it will come out easy. Andrew
tries to imagine his monitor gone, and how he and Peter will be brothers, and Peter would hate him, and not call him third.
His monitor was removed and he headed back to school. On his way out to the bus, Ender meets a school bully named Stilson.
Stilson and his gang attack Ender, but Ender manages to kick out at Stilson and drop him. Then, to stop any future attacks,
Ender continues to hurt him, even after he is on the ground.
*His monitor is a device fixed to the back of his neck that allows commanders at battle school see, hear, and feel what
Ender is going through. They do this to find children to take up to battle school and train to fight their enemy, the 'Buggers'.

Chapter 2
PETER
The two unknown individuals are talking again, and they are guessing what Ender and his brother are going to do, now
that Enders monitor is off.

Ender arriver home after school and his incident with Stilson, and the readers get to meet Valentine and Peter. Ender
describes Peter as just mean, the only things he sees from Peter is mean. Valentine is represented as nice, and she protects
Ender. Anyways, Peter and Ender play 'Buggers and Astronauts', which is a game where the astronauts are the good guys, and
the buggers are the bad guys. Peter hurts Ender on purpose during this, and threatens Ender and Valentine that he will
kill them in the future. Later that night Peter comes in and, thinking Ender is asleep, apologizes to Ender, and says the
he loves him.

Chapter 3
GRAFF
The two people are still talking, but they decide to bring Ender up to Battle School.*

Ender Wigging meets Colonel Hyrum Graff, who is the director of primary training at the Battle School. Colonel Graff
visited Ender because he wanted to see the reasoning behind Enders continued attacks at Stilson. Ender then gave him the reason,
and Colonel Graff accepted Ender into Battle School. Graff and Ender talked alone, and Graff explained to Ender everything
that would happen to Ender if he went. He would leave behind his family, everything he owned, and Valentine. Graff then explained
to Ender what he would be doing up in Battle School, and the rules, and the games. After everything, Ender decided to
go, but while the car was driving away, Valentine called out saying that she loves him, and she'll never forget him.
*Battle School is a training program for young kids that trains them to become future star captains, commodores, and
admirals of the space fleet.
