Bean left lunch extremely early to go search for the air intake system in his barracks. He does find it near his bunk, removes the vent cover and places it under the bunk directly across the room to avoid suspicion. That night after lights out, he pretended to go to the toilet, but he secretly crawled down the small shaft, finding there to be just enough room. He was crawling around and found Dimak’s office. Dimak was talking to Colonel Graff over a holographic projector, and he was talking about Bean! Sister Carlotta was finding information that proved Bean was genetically altered to be smarter, but still human. While Bean was crawling back to his barracks, Bean found a teacher signing onto his desk, and memorized the password so Bean could have access to more important information.

Bean began reading the records of other students in Battle School, knowing more about them than they knew about themselves. Bean has also taken up the job of trying to be like Ender Wiggin. Bean got a list of Enders’ friends, and visited one of them. Shen explained to Bean Enders’ personality. Ender doesn’t hate anybody, but he also doesn’t love anyone either. He just has a way of making people like him. Just by talking with and hanging around Ender you could just start liking him, even if you hated him. Ender was small when he arrived at Battle School, not like Bean but small.

Sister Carlotta has found Beans father, Dr Volescu. Dr Volescu had taken genes from himself, genetically changed them to be smarter, then implanted them and formed super children. His project was trying to improve life, being covered up by an organ farm. These ‘super babies’ would be extremely smart, have great long-term memory, and be extremely small. These children would be the right height around puberty, but be giants in their 20’s. Unfortunately, they would die before they grew to the age of twenty five.
